Hello! I am back on the NASCAR circuit for a few weeks and can’t wait to share the experiences and insight of your favorite drivers.. I wanted to check in really quick before I run off to do qualifying. Today, I’ll be interviewing the drivers after they are done with their laps…so far, Carl Edwards looks really good in practice, but this race Sunday is going to be interesting because here at Pocono, they’ve put a new strip of asphalt on top of turn 3… the drivers were shocked, so were the majority of the workers here that showed up at testing. What it does is makes a much grippier, racier patch up in the turn so as Mark Martin told me…” I don’ t know what the heck they were thinking”. Its gonna be a big question mark here on Sunday.
An interesting tidbit I found out today in the garage… Greg Biffle’s dad lives in Mexico and doesn’t use a phone.. they all check in on one another in the middle of the week via email… interesting….
